Westeros fans will have to wait as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is setback until 2026. Warner Bros. Discover originally stated that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms would air at the end of 2025, but during the trailer released today, it was announced that the show will premier at the beginning of 2026. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms follows after The House of Dragons, which is currently in production, although to date has been set for its release. This would be the second prequel from A Game of Thrones, the HBO Max block buster TV series, created from the works of R.R. Martin. The show is an adaption of R.R. Martin’s novel, “The Hedge Knight”, which involves the knight Ser Duncan (Ducan the Tall) and his young squire, Egg, nearly 100 years before the Game of Thrones series and 100 years after The House of the Dragon. Season one is expected to be six episodes.
